Return Logs

How and when to complete a return log

Return logs are created in order to zero out selected quarantine products. This should be used when drugs are returned to a hospital, returned to a pharmacy, sent to a return distributor, or when the DEA Form 41 is manually completed.

 

**Before completing, you will first need to transfer the products to be returned to the quarantine inventory. See our Medication Quarantine article for instructions on how to do this**

 

Initiate a new Return Log

From the Web

  • Select the "Return" tab from the home dashboard

From the Mobile App (iOS / Android)

  • Select "Return Logs" under the "Quarantine" inventory dropdown menu

  • Select "Log Return"

Select Products to Return

Available quarantine products can be added to the associated products list. Products in this list will be returned following completion.

Complete Verification

i. Select a return type from the dropdown:

ii. Add comments & upload file (optional)

  •  If manually completed, DEA Form 41 should be uploaded. 
  • New York clients returning products to the pharmacy should upload Form 4004.

 

iii. Add Verification Signatures
