NY Users will be required to fill out custom field options in addition to the agency information during setup. If resupplying from hospital pharmacies, additional configuration of replenishment features will also be needed.
Agency Info Custom Field Options
1) Go to Admin > Settings > Agency Info
2) Complete the "Custom Field Options by State" section
-BNE Class 3C#
-CS Agent Name, E-mail, & Phone
-NYS EMS Agency Code #
-NYS CS License #
-Quantity of Controlled Substance Sub-Stock Carried
The information from these custom fields will be populated when completing forms 4004 & 3848. It is important to ensure that this information is kept up to date if there are any changes.
Replenishment Features
In order to be able to restock individual vials from the hospital pharmacy, you will need to make changes to the default settings in "Replenishment Features"
1) Go to Admin > Settings > Features > Replenishment
2) Change "Wholesale Boxes Only" to "Loose Vials Only" or "Both" to allow for replenishment of individual vials.
Note: If your agency's individual truck inventories will be restocking directly from a hospital pharmacy (rather than using a transfer from a station or a reconciliation), you will turn on the "Replenishment on Truck Inventories" feature here.
