Example: A manager intended to transfer Fentanyl from the Main Safe inventory to Medic 1 but accidentally selected the Supervisor QRV inventory instead.
1) Locate the inventory where the product was transferred erroneously.
You can find the location of the transferred product by viewing the transfers from the inventory you were transferring FROM
If your agency uses the control value feature, you can also find the location of the transferred product by searching its control value.
2) Complete a transfer to the correct inventory
After locating the inventory where the product was transferred by mistake, you will initiate a transfer from that inventory to the correct inventory.
Note: Completing this corrective transfer will create a new record in the audit log. This is expected behavior and serves as documentation that a correction was made.
