Optional Features

For Training Inventory: This is used if the inventory will be used for training purposes only (i.e. onboarding or demonstrations). Products and inventory actions in this type of inventory are separate from non-training inventories and will not be reflected in the transaction history.

Use Out of Service: Turning on this feature allows a Paramedic to place medications out of service during a shift change. For additional information, see Shift Change Features.

For Special Event: This is used if creating an inventory for a special event. This should only be turned on for non-permanent inventories that will be deactivated after use.

Associated Inventory Actions

To edit the available inventory actions for an inventory navigate to  Admin > Inventory > Inventory Actions.

You can then add new inventory actions to be added to the associated inventory during setup.

Increment: any action that causes an absolute increase in your inventory (Ex: receiving a product form a supplier).

Decrement: any action that causes an absolute decrease in your inventory (Ex: giving product to a patient).
